7 Amazing Tiny House Bed Ideas (Image Series)

The bedroom is often hard to think into very small floor plans. A room that you only use for sleeping can end up taking some valuable square feet.

We’ve looked at how it has been done creatively in the past and also some unique angles we’ve come up with that we’ve visualized with renderings.

Build a Raised bed

This is our bed at home.

It’s a very small room so the bed takes up 80% of the floor space leaving no room for closets and storage.

So, we’ve raised the bed a bit to install Ikea drawers underneath.

This is a good example of a Murphy bed. The bed that folds up on the wall during the day.

We love how the Bestar bed has a very flush finish and pistons that help you lift the bed so it’s not too heavy even for bigger kids to fold up their bed in the morning.

Cute Sideways murphy bed for kids

Here’s another take on the Murphy bed. This model is for the kids’ room.

We love how little space this cute pink bed takes up in the room.

Very practical and sweet looking!

Nested bed system

This double bunk bed in a kids bedroom with purple decor and colorful bedding offers a solution to two children sharing sleeping in the same room.

Something most of us used to do back in the 80s and 90s!

It’s a great way to store an extra bed in the kids’ room.

Sleeping Lofts

You cannot overlook sleeping lofts if you’re researching tiny homes. They’re everywhere.

We like this design with a proper staircase that will enable both seniors and kids to access the loft space easily.

This space is made by “Bear’s Tiny Homes” and we came across it in Orlando, Florida.

We’ve also made some renderings of cool ideas and concepts that we’ve come up with!

Pull-out bed system

Here’s an example of a pull-out bed under the stairs of an elevated kitchen.

This time, the bed slides into the corner, which is convenient because it utilizes unused space, keeping the main area clear and open.

Additionally, the stairs feature built-in storage, providing a convenient solution for organizing kitchen or household items.
