We LOVE NYC!
I go there whenever I can and I love to shoot pictures of the unique architecture and style we find there.
Let’s look at some of the industrial-inspired designs that the city is famous for.
Huge muntin-windows in steel
Who doesn’t love a sweet New Yorker (or NYC inspired) home with with iron windows?
This is a nice example of the tall windows with lots of little squares.
Notice how sections of the windows opens up!
Here’s another example:
The white walls go well hand-in-hand with the heavy and dark sofa and the contrast is beautifully highlighted by the iron window frames.
Here’s another beautiful home from the city that never sleeps!
Notice how the walls are raw and haven’t been plastered with wallpaper.
Very classic New York style!
Not completely white – but we had to include some raw walls in this post to explain and communicate true New Yorker style 😉
White NYC-inspired sleeping loft
This loft space is beautiful.
It’s both inspired by the white-with-white Scandinavian designs and there’s some NYC in it as well – especially around the flooring and the spacious bed.
Lets now look at some concept ideas for New York style apartments. We’ve made some renderings to inspire you.
