10 Tiny House hacks and style ideas

We’ve found some good tiny space hacks and styles for your inspiration.

We’ve tried to find some of the best ideas and hacks for small spaces – and we’ve also rendered some ideas for you further down the article.

Let’s start with this one. A tiny home we visited in the U.S. at a tiny house festival.

Tiny House With Wooden Loft

This is from a wooden tiny home on wheels. The staircases leads to the sleeping loft where there is a big sleeping area with a queensize mattress.

However, there’s lots of space for another mattress (or two!).

Sleeping Loft Above Bathroom

This sleeping loft is found inside another tiny house on wheels that we came across in Orlando.

It’s a very nice little house with a sleeping deck right next to the kitchen (above the bathroom).

Lots of space up there!

make space for crafting

This old roll-top-style design can be a great way to hide your sewing gear in the main living room, if you don’t have a separate room for sewing. That’s what we’ve done!

We found this cute old table and adjusted it a little bit to have the serger AND the sewing machine fit inside.

It works very well!

Use Every Nook

This another little hack from our own home.

We used some old pipes and found some fittings to create a form that can be used for hanging clothes. We love the industrial feel and the fact that it almost didn’t cost anything, but more importantly – it’s 100% made from reused materials!

A raised bed can allow for lots of storage

Our bedroom is extremely small, as you can see. It just cannot fit a wardrobe (which is also why we installed the pipes above for handing clothes).

So, we decided to raise the bed to install drawers under it. In here we store almost all our clothes. The rest is placed in a little drawer in the bathroom.

It works for us!

Add storage everywhere

Get creative and notice whenever you have unused space.

These are some places to start looking for storage space:

  • Under stairs
  • shelves above doors
  • floor-to-ceiling storage
  • etc.

Here’s another storage idea:

It’s a great idea to build storage into steps.

For this loft bed, you can notice how each step is actually a storage drawer for storing toys and stuff.

Great idea!

We also rendered some idea concepts for small space designs that we think you’ll love!

Tiny Shack With White Loft Space

A nice white loft space rendering, offering a nice retreat from the outside world.

The minimalist design of this home allows the white loft space to take center stage, creating a bright and sweet atmosphere.

We’re fans!

Pull-out bed under plateau

We love this idea of a bed you can pull out from under a slightly raised area in the home.

In this rendering, the bed can scoop under a plateau where you can sit and watch TV, read a book, or just hang out.

Very clever!

Another pull-out bed

Here’s another take on a sliding bed that can be pulled out from a raised plateau.

This time the space has been used as kitchen space. The rendering shows how you can put wheels under the bed frame and have it hide under a section of the room that’s slightly raised.
