We’ve now been traveling Belgium for a little over two weeks and we’ve come across some beautiful and cute little wooden homes.
Small old wooden home

This home is extremely cute. We found it out in the country side between (mostly) a lot of brick homes.
Notice how the door shudders have a zig-zag pattern, that’s very common in Belgium.
Tiny House style wooden home

This little home is more in the style of the tiny houses we start seeing everywhere in Europe and the U.S.
We also love how the wood has been kept in it’s natural color (though we LOVE strong colors too!).
Brick home with wooden facade

This house is actually brick-made but has been decorated with lots of wooden panels.
That’s a great way to add that nature-touch if you’re not a fan of bricks and stones.
New architect home with wooden panels

This home is a more modern take on a brick-based home with wooden panels on the outside.
We love the rounded balcony and the lofte part above the entrance.
So cool.
Classic wooden home from 1850

This city building is made from old timber and you probably recognise the structure if you’ve been to southern Europe.
We love the strong contrast between the black and white.
Antique home with wooden facade

This is also from around that period but shows another style of wooden facade work.
Notice the many details.
This home could use some paint, but it’s still impressive.
Cottage style wooden home

This home is a cottage built on top of a stronger base.
We love the walking pathway and how the wooden structure frames the facade really beautifully.
Here’s form the front:

Wooden home with brick details

This brick home is also very cute.
We love hos this rendering has a few decorative brick work here and there but is mainly built in wood.
Wooden fill-in home

This home is much more modern and we love how the flower boxes almost take over the house.
Very beautiful with a wooden home in the city center where most buildings are brick.
Cottage in wood with chimney

Let’s end with a really cute little cottage.
What a beautiful rendering.
