Some houses just have that extra, that an architect can add to the design!
Here are some of the better houses by architects, that we have come by.
Black wooden home in the forest
This home has a very beautiful front porch, with pillar like wooden planks to hold the roofing.
Even though it’s newly built, and the garden hasn’t grown up yet, it already looks great.
Boxy home with white windows
This home is almost a perfect cube, and you’ll notice how simple even the roofing is, it’s just slightly angled so the water can run off during hard rain.
We came across it outside Århus in Denmark.
Architect office build a tiny home
This little architect office in Denmark, is really cool too.
Notice how the roofing is slightly angled to mirror the shape of the staircase leading up to the entrance.

We like the woodwork here, and how the wood is positioned horizontally on one end vertically on the other side.
Just beautiful.
Another home from the same area
This home is made in the same building style, with wood going horizontally on the façade.
As you can see, it’s not finished yet, but we really like the minimalistic window with hardly no frame at all.
Two-story home built by the owner
This wouldn’t home also got some character.
We love the walking path around the second story, and how the roof extends over the balcony to create shade.
Slanted roof and huge windows
This wooden home is also made by an architect.
Notice how it slightly angled to face the garden, and how the big windows will let in lots of sunlight up in the cold north (Denmark).
Half wood half brick (Belgium 00)
This is a beautiful home we drove by on a bike trip in Belgium this summer.
We love how it’s half wood, and half brick mate.
Notice how beautiful the balcony has been finished off of the round shaped toward the garden.
Wooden tiny house by architect
This is a super tiny home, that’s actually towable.
It’s made with a beautiful front porch, and it has been placed here permanently, though it cant be moved.
The woodwork is just beautiful.
