Front porches comes in many shapes and we’d love to inspire you with some unsual design and a couple of renderings.
Let’s start with the classic front porch. The wooden front porch with a little wooden fence, like we often see on traditional American homes.
While this is a rather big house, they’re just as common on smaller homes.
This is a small little cottage house we found on a recent trip through Sweden to shoot pictures for you guys.

It’s a small front porch that you’ll probably mostly use to get shelter during rainy days when looking for your door key.
However, we love the beautiful wooden details of this front porch and how welcoming and warm it looks on this cute little gem!
Some front porches are big
This is a great example of a long and broad front porch where you could host a full barbecue or party!
We love big porches like this one and this one also features the classic rocking chair that you will often find on front porches in classic American movies.
Pink cottage with big porch
I came across this little cutie yesterday and had to shoot a picture.
We love the little wooden deck (or porch) here and how the pink exterior really compliments the space!
Here’s a similar home in pink:
They both have a rather spacious front porch area (or is it the back porch?) for the long summer nights.
Very cute and we love how it really extends the home into the garden and opens up the whole space!

Cozy Front Porch Tiny Dwelling
This front porch rendering also shows a beautiful round window.
The house features a basement with a garage, which also means the front porch is built on top of it to allow easy access directly into the main living room.
