6 Ideas For Tiny House Kitchen Storage

Creativity is important when adding storage to small homes – maybe especially in the kitchen where so much stuff is needed.

We love a good optimized kitchen space and we have found some good ones for you!

Let’s start with the kitchen space from my office.

Use The Wall

The wall is often unused space. It will quickly become cluttered so you need a plan, like this design with old wooden planks that have been recycled into a space to store (hang) cups and coffee mugs.

This is an idea from my friend’s space and I love how decorative it looks!

Floor-To-Ceiling Storage Cabinets

Make sure to utilize the vertical space the best you can.

You need to make sure you get every square inch included when installing cabinets and shelves.

The example above is a good example. These are affordable Ikea cabinets and appliances.

Add shelves inside cabinet to use the vertical space

Kitchen cabinets will often need a little optimization.

This cabinet has a few racks installed to add multiple layers of plates and containers. Very clever.

We also like how this doors swings out.

When the door closes, the two shelves inside the cabinet slides to the right and disappears into the otherwise unused space in the corner.

more wall space ideas

It’s a good idea to use the wall space to allow for more storage – just like we saw with the mugs in the first example.

Pretty mugs or knives can look great when arranged neatly on the wall.

You can also add a few decorative elements like the example above with a few plants on the wall.

Shelves Across Window

These hanging shelves in front of the window also looks very stylish. It’s a great way to utilize big windows.

We love how they actually add to the room rather than add more clutter.

The kitchen is made with orange cabinets that blends perfectly with its rustic interior.

Just great!
