12 Colorful Cottages That Look Adorable (Image Series)

We love cottage-style homes. Especially the wooden ones.

We’ve gathered some great examples from across Scandinavia.

Olive-green wooden cottage

This cute little home is found outside Aarhus, Denmark.

We love how it blends into nature with the beautiful olive-green color.

Notice also how the front porch extends into the garden with a triangular shape.

Corner row-house in cottage style

This little home shows a dark blue cottage style row house.

It sits very pretty at the end of an old street, and we love how the owner has been bold enough to paint the whole thing dark blue!

Colorful row houses

These tiny row houses are also made in cottage style, and we love how the dormer windows opens up towards the street.

Notice just how small these houses really are!

This little strong red house really caught our attention.

We love the green plants on the front wall.

These townhouses are from the late 1800.

Light-blue cottage home

Here’s another very colorful townhouse, made completely in cottage style.

Notice how the front door and windows are made beautifully and white, that really goes well with the light blue color.

Long line of cottage-style row houses

Here’s a picture of the full line of row houses.

Notice just how different they are in color, and how beautiful they all blend together in this old street.

Here’s a picture from the other side of the street:

Just awesome!

Pink Cottage

This wooden home is also very cozy.

It’s a pink wooden cottage style house from the rural districts of Denmark.

Here’s another picture from the side:

We love how the white windows goes so well with the bright pink color and the flat roof!

It fits beautifully into the green area outside the city.

Dark blue modern cottage

This wooden home is a more modern take on a cottage style home.

We love how the frame has been painted white, and how well it goes with the dark blue color on the exterior of the house.

The terrace is covered to shelter from the sun on hot summer days.
