We’ve currently traveling through Belgium on our Northern Europe tour to shoot some good pictures for you guys.
These are some of the best examples of classic Belgian building style we’ve come across.
Big Brick Mansion Inspired By Victorian Style

Notice how this home is built up around the center of the facade.
It’s set with two pillars that hold the little roofing over the entrance and the structure is continued in the brick style all the way to the top.
White Brick Villa with Red Roof

Here’s another classic villa home in Belgian style.
The muntin-style windows are so cute and they’re only made like that at the top half which makes it easier to actually use them.
Old Belgian Home With Timber Structure

The visual timber structure of this home is also typical Belgian style.
We love this old building style and we were happy to see it still being used across Belgium as we drive through a lot of small villages.
Belgian Village Home with Big Front Porch

This front porch is beautiful and you’ll notice the many fine details on both the shudders and the front door.
This reveals that this house used to be a really fine home whereas today it’s not that well maintained, unfortunately.
Visual Timber Structure Home

Here’s another Belgian home with visual timber structure.
So pretty.
The mix of wood (timber) and bricks works really well and we’ve seen it many times across Belgium already.
Old Restored Belgian Home From 1867

This home has been restored with a beautiful staircase that connects to two apartments inside this old stone building.
Belgium used to build from stone rather than bricks back in the day. Stone are everywhere in this region as the underground is extremely rocky.
“Villa Des Roses”

The Rose Villa – a proper name for this majestic old home!

Blue Brick Home With Victorian Details

This Belgian rendering of a home is a pretty villa in the classic building style inspired by the Victorian style.
We love the tall dormer windows – very cool twist.
Corner Brick House With Huge Muntin Style Window

This rendering shows a facade with a huge muntin-style window.
So cool and yet so romantic when the lights are on inside the home at night. Notice also how the bricks are positioned in totally random style – very Belgian!
Narrow White Brick Home

This home also features some unique windows.
Both the bottom window with the arched top and the little oval window at the top could be found on old Belgian homes.
