We love houses in irregular shapes. We recently looked at triangular houses and houses with round windows, and now let’s look at houses in general with amazing shapes (other than the usual square or rectangular shape).
We also rendered some really interesting architectural concepts further down the article.
swedish tower home

This is a home we came across on our recent trip to Sweden.
It’s found inside the park of “Astrid Lindgreen’s Verden”. We love how this tower has been turned into a home where the top part works as a little thinking tower with a fantastic view.
Just beautiful.
Here’s a picture from the other side:

Notice also how the windows have a little angle to them so they’re actually not flush with the structure but straight horizontal.
The rounded windows at the top is also a nice twist!
Swedish house with unique front entrance

This house is found inside the city center of Bullerby, in souther Sweden.
Like so many Swedish homes, it’s a wooden construction – but this home has an entrance part that also works as support structure for a balcony. It really connects the two stories of the home.
Very unique!
house with a wooden tower-like addition
We walked right by this little wooden home in the center of Bullerby, Sweden. It’s crammed in between other city houses and it’s quite unique with it’s little tower-like part on toward the back.
This style is very typical for old Swedish houses.
Here’s a house from a little further down the same street. Notice the very cute door:
Very sweet.
We also made some renderings to inspire some new homes and styles!
Home With unsual angle
This home is uniquely angled. The reason is maybe not so unexpected – sunshine.
The house is angled to get the most sun directly into the house with the big windows during the cold winter season.
The home is found in Scandinavia, where the winters are long and cold – so all sunlight is needed!
Architects’ office
This little mobile home is made by architects, as their office.
It’s very cool to see how the shape of the entrance stairs is repeated in the roofing structure.
Notice how this feature also allows for a higher ceiling around the door.

Uniquely Sculpted small Home
This small house rendering stands out with its unique and artistic design, like a tiny sculpture brought to life. Its shape is unlike any other, making it very unique.
Despite its size, this tiny home has lots of character and creativity in every “corner”.
Organic Shape Haven
Imagine a small haven that blends with nature, its organic shape harmonizing with the surroundings. This rendering offers a cozy retreat with a touch of natural beauty.
The windows are also made to mimic the outer shape of the home.
Just beautiful!
small home – Unconventional Form
This home is both curvy and pointy.
We love it!
Notice how the ivy starts to climb – I can only imagine how pretty a house like this rendering will look when fully covered in ivy!
