We’re currently traveling around Belgium to shoot pictures of their beautiful architecture.
Belgium is very unique in the way that it blends French architecture with Norther European style. It’s clear that we are in the catholic part of Europe as we’ll also see.
Modern Brick Home With Yellow and Red Stones
This first home is a very simple and and minimalistic home made of colorful bricks.
It’s interesting how they have chosen a completely random and natural flow of the brick colors rather than make a defined pattern.
Here’s a similar home before we move on to something different.
Majestic Brick Home With Beautiful Stone Details
Note how the windows are smaller (narrower) that you’d normally see in Scandinavia.
This shows that we’re getting further south where people want to keep the heat out as we’re venturing into a warmer climate.
Classic Belgian Brick and Stone Facade
Belgium is known for it’s colorful bricks and stones.
Here’s a good example of a facade where the stones are set in a rather random pattern.
Very unique.
Red Connected Town House
This very red home is alto quite unique.
It’s found inside the small village in Belgium called Dinant. It’s very famous for it’s many saxophones around the town – but you also find some VERY beautiful brick architecture!
Brick Home With Log Structure From 1965
This little home I photographed from my car window (as you can see) on our way through a small village in Belgium. I couldn’t stop the car so I had so take my best shot from the car.
Notice how Sct. Mary has a little room in the wall structure – it shows us a bit of Belgium’s history and how they separated themselves form the reformed Lutheran neighbour Holland.
Brick City Home with Small Brick Tower
This home has a rather unique feature with a little brick tower.
We love whenever we come by details like this. It’s clearly made just to be pretty as it’s not very practical!
Majestic Villa With lots of Wooden Details
This villa has a lot of wooden details that almost looks like it’s from Southern Sweden.
We love these wooden details and how it really adds some charm to the dormer windows.
Just beautiful – though it could use some paint.
Unique Belgian Brick Home With Huge Chimney
This brick home is kept in one color – but notice how the bricks are still laid in a random pattern! Typical Belgian style.

We love the main outline of this home with it’s big windows and a cute little dormer windows.
The entrance is also very stylish and majestic.
Old White Belgian-Style Brick Home With Black Window Frames

This rendering shows a very small city home with a huge mintin-style window section that looks so awesome.
We love how the white bricks goes hand in hand with the bigger red stones at the main floor.
Restored Belgian Brick Home With Metal Window Section

This rendering shows how you can add a modern window section to a classic brick and stone home.
Black metal windows always look great with bricks and stones!
